Repeat prescriptions are issued by the doctors enabling those patients who are on long term medication to obtain their prescription without making appointments.
Requests for medication should be put in the box on the wall in the waiting room.
Alternatively you may order online. New users to the system are required to complete a simple registration form which is available ONLY from reception.
Some local chemists run a collection service – check with your chemist or enclose a SAE.
If you would like your prescription sent to a Pharmacy for collection then please allow 72 hours for this process
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
Patients on repeat medication may be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
